G. 2 Parents: Make a Wimpel Day

Join Lane Atlas and other grade 2 parents in the social hall and work together to create your child’s wimpel.

Materials Checklist

Please bring:

• a spray bottle with water
• sharp scissors
• an 8in x 8in light cotton press cloth (something the weight of a 100% t-shirt)
• iron & ironing board
• ideas for your wimpel: print simple designs like a star of David tree, dove, menorahs, or anything that interests your child or family.
• many families bring patches representing their child’s or family’s interests.

• Hebrew letter stencils
