It was wonderful to see so many of you on Purim, to see the fantastic costumes and to hear the religious school kids singing together up on stage!
The Second Graders returned from February vacation refreshed and ready to work. We recently learned the “Fey” and Final “Fey”. Every time we introduce new letters the class is so excited to be able to read words.
We brainstormed some ideas for a very short skit for our Kabbalat Siddur Ceremony, and have been practicing in class. We have also been practicing songs with Cantor Ken, and have been sharing what we know about our Hebrew names and why they were chosen by our parents.
We are all looking forward to the weekend of March 17th, with our Kabbalat Siddur Ceremony on Shabbat, and to go to the Model Matzah Factory the day after. We will be doing lots of Passover prep after that, reviewing the story and traditions.
