Welcome to Kitah Dalet! I am so excited for the new school year.
This week went by fast, but here’s a brief summary of what the 4th graders were busy doing this week: Tuesday/Wednesday: Midweek classes started off the school year strong with Apple and Honey Olympics! The 4th Graders were quick to jump right into the activities and excited for some friendly competition. Sunday with Sarah: The students started working on a B’rit, a contract, for the school year. They were all eager to share ideas of what would help them be successful and what they wanted to learn this year. The next step will be for the students to decide what the 4th grade expected behaviors are that will help us be a successful community this year. Of course I am here for guidance, however the ideas are mostly coming from the students! Once finished, we will all sign this contract and hold one another accountable for being respectful, responsible and safe throughout the year!
