Grade 2, 3, 4 – Start Up Nation Meets Purim!
Posted on April 8, 2016
Last month with the leadership of Dani Nurick our Ramah Service Corp Fellow, students in grades 2-4 spent the afternoon learning about why Israel has earned itself the nickname “Start-Up Nation.” Dani emphasized that Israel is much more than the Kotel, the desert and conflict. Start-ups in Israel have created the ReWalk, the cherry tomato, drip irrigation, WAZE and the Water Elephantis. After learning about these innovations, teams of students were challenged to create a prototype for something that would enhance their celebration of Purim. Check out TIs Facebook page for their prototypes! Creativity at its best!
