Shalom Gesher class families!
Our first Sunday together was amazing!!!  Our day began with Apples and Cinnamon Cheerios and, with Kitah Vav, we welcomed Josh Sartok to our school.  The entire school joined Robin and Cantor Ken in the sanctuary to sing an array of teffillot.  Then it was off to our new classroom, the TI chapel.  Students were briefed on our curricula for the year and introduced to the art of micrography, creating images using tiny writing and color.  Our study of the Prophets began with a discussion of the themes in the Book of Jonah, which is traditionally read on Yom Kippur afternoon.  And we began to consider the life cycle with some images, ending with a very brief brainstorming session about Jewish milestones in that life cycle.
G’mar chatimah tovah ve tsom kal.
